Parking
Epworth Freemasons has undercover parking, entered via Gotch Lane from Grey Street. You can reach the Grey Street Building directly from the underground car park. There is 15-minute parking in Clarendon Street and metered parking in the surrounding streets, with strict time restrictions.
Public transport
Tram 48 or 75 to stop 11 on Wellington Parade. The hospital is a five-minute walk from Jolimont station, or a 15-minute walk through the Fitzroy Gardens from Parliament station.
Access & drop-off
The hospital’s main entrance at 109 Albert Street has an undercover drop-off area with wheelchair access. For consulting clinics, use the Grey Street Building entrance at 124 Grey Street.
Finding the rooms
Ground Floor, Suite 1. Come in through the Grey Street Building entrance — a separate entrance from the main Albert Street reception — and the consulting suites are the first right, directly opposite Epworth Pathology.
What happens at this site
Antenatal and gynaecology appointments, in-room procedures and postnatal reviews are held here. Birth and surgery are booked at Epworth Freemasons, 320 Victoria Parade, about a ten-minute walk or a few minutes by car.
Epworth Freemasons runs across two East Melbourne sites. The Albert Street campus, which the Grey Street Building belongs to, covers acute treatment, rehabilitation and consulting clinics. Maternity and the birth suite are at Victoria Parade. The main hospital entrance moved to 109 Albert Street, around the corner from the former Clarendon Street entrance, so older letters and directions may still name Clarendon Street.

Diagonally across from main reception on Albert Street. Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm, Saturday 8am – 2:30pm, closed Sunday.
Slade Pharmacy
On site, for prescriptions and for gifts for adults, children and new mothers, with gift wrapping available.
Radiology Victoria
113 Albert Street, 03 9297 8200. Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm; inpatient service only at weekends.
Visiting hours
Visitors are welcome 10am – 8pm every day on the Albert Street campus. Epworth asks that no lilies be brought into any of its hospitals.
Opening hours for some services vary on public holidays — it is worth checking ahead.
