For severe pain, heavy bleeding, collapse, seizure, chest pain or difficulty breathing, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not phone the rooms and wait.If you are more than 20 weeks pregnant and you are in labour, your waters have broken, you have bleeding or reduced fetal movements, call the birth suite at your booked hospital, staffed 24 hours. Do not use the enquiry form for urgent concerns.Before 20 weeks of pregnancy, and for urgent gynaecological concerns outside business hours, call the after-hours line given on your appointment card. Calls may be answered by Dr Aridas or by an on-call service. For severe symptoms, attend an emergency department or call 000.
Response times
Phone messages are returned the same business day where possible. Enquiry forms and emails are answered within two business days. Referrals are triaged within 48 hours.
