Welcome

Continuity of care, from your first visit to your postnatal review

I provide routine, comprehensive and high-risk pregnancy care alongside broad general gynaecology, with particular experience in twin pregnancy, VBAC, breech birth and complex maternal and fetal conditions.

I see women at every stage of life — heavy or painful periods, fibroids, endometriosis and pelvic pain, contraception, fertility investigation, menopause, cervical screening follow-up and colposcopy — with surgery offered where it is genuinely the right option.

Appointments are scheduled to allow you to ask what you need to ask. I aim for you to leave each visit heard, informed and clear about the plan — and I welcome you at any stage of pregnancy, including after a birth that was difficult.

Where to start
Tell us what you need and we will be in touch within two business days to arrange a time. Or call instead if you prefer. How to prepare for your first appointment and what to expect on the day, including referral requirements and what to bring. Addresses, parking, public transport and access for the consulting rooms, and for the hospitals where I operate and deliver. Referral pathway, what to include, Healthlink and secure messaging details, and how results are communicated back.
Areas of care

Two sides of one practice

Good care is rarely a single appointment — it is a relationship that holds across the whole of your health. Obstetric care spans pre-pregnancy planning through to postnatal recovery, and gynaecological care continues across a lifetime — from the first consultation about periods or contraception, through fertility and childbearing, to menopause and beyond.

If something is wrong right now

If you or your baby are in immediate danger — heavy bleeding, severe pain, collapse, seizure, chest pain or difficulty breathing — call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a call back. If you are more than 20 weeks pregnant and you are in labour, your waters have broken, you have bleeding or reduced fetal movements, call the birth suite at your booked hospital, staffed 24 hours. Do not use the enquiry form for urgent concerns. Before 20 weeks of pregnancy, and for urgent gynaecological concerns outside business hours, call the after-hours line given on your appointment card. Calls may be answered by Dr Aridas or by an on-call service. For severe symptoms, attend an emergency department or call 000.
Rooms are attended during business hours only. Enquiries sent through this website are answered within two business days and are not monitored after hours.
